Are the mini contracts increasing the stop width?

For example a small retail trader on SP500 could only trade the ES. Now the small retail can trade the MES.
For the ES 5 points away for your stop was $250
now, with the MES that 5 pts is $25.

Before the retail might have wanted a further away stop but be limited be budget. Now he/she could use a wider stop and still be in there budget.

What have people noticed?

I imagine the big boys with the algos might like to feed off the minnows as well as the mini fish.

Arbitrage

With both the ES and the MES there will be people (perhaps your very own kindly broker trading ES against MES and vice versa. Perhaps this has an impact on the distance the algos run hunting for your stops?
