Can anyone tell me what this is (in the picture below)? They look like stop runs but I'm wondering the following:
  • If they work, why don't they happen more frequently?
    Can they be traded (if so, how?)
    Can they be avoided (if so, how?)
    Will they blow right past resting limit orders?

@Squinty I agree with tr8er, it must be bad data.

This is my view - I put a couple of lines about where yours are for comparison
