My name is Steve. This my first week trading futures live with TOS. What a first week! Started off the week not great. Didn’t cut my losses on Monday and Tuesday. Changed that on Wednesday and was profitable $660. Thursday only lost $90. Today was being super conservative because the market was choppy. Was up $100 until oil made big move down. When I saw it violated the lower band of vwap I was waiting to go long for a move back to the 8ma. Well this never really happened it kept moving lower. I got in though. However stupid of me to fight the trend. I got stopped out quick. Then I went with the trend and gained back a lot of the money initially lost. Then tried to play the bottom again and got burnt. Way to emotional at this point. Then tried to go bearish with trend again and that didn’t work. Then decided to move bullish. Got stopped out. Big learning lesson! If I would of went with the initial trend I would of been up like 3-4 k. Instead I lost 1.8 k. The lower band of vwap is what gave me confidence. Oil blasted through it like butter. I am usually very disciplined. Revenge traded. So stupid. I have to treat this as a learning lesson. Now I am trying to write this out to move on. Thank god for the weekend. Not sure if this is the best introduction. Lol
