I was told from ToS futures desk the lowest they go is $1.50 commissions? and need 500-1000 contracts traded to get that. Anyone else heard this? I only trade 1 maybe 2 contracts at a time... avoiding micros because ToS charges a flat commission on any future unlike Amp or Ninjatrader...

I was referring to options not futures. I’m not sure what they say they will do on futures but they aren’t competitive.

I was able to get some pretty good rates after I asked them what they could do for me based on my trade volume. About $5 round trip for most contracts. I don't recommend ToS/TDA for futures trading though. I'll be moving to something else shortly. Here's some recent trades with commissions and fees:

Dang, what’s your avg volume if you don’t mind? I do like their all in one solution and I trade fx(easy to transfer funds between accounts) they are Mac and mobile convenient :/ hard for me to switch.
