Is it possible to modify the starting hour of market replay in ninjatrader?
I live in Italy and when I run market replay it starts at 6:00 am (when it's midnight in New York)

Hmm, the market replay and the incoming data are in GMT, so you can be in whatever time zone it should not matter.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

Do you mean you can't set the time to begin replay? I think you can just move the time slider to the time you want.

Or, do you mean the earliest time available for a particular date is midnight in New York? In that case, check your NT session time settings. I am sure you are not restricted to a particular time zone. Also, I know that the session time does not have to be set to midnight in any time zone, since the actual exchange session times do not end or start at midnight. I don't see why replay would be set up differently from the regular NT settings.

Can you clarify what the issue is that you are finding?

I don't use NT at present, so I'm going somewhat by memory of how things work with it. But I believe there is a solution to your issue. Perhaps, if you describe in more detail what the problem is, a current NT user can step in and provide more detailed help.

Bob.

Bob.

Thank you for your answer.
I figured it out downloading two days in a row (I trade cme futures). The first six hours of the day (6 pm - 12 New York, 00:00 - 6:00 Rome) are included in the previous day I want to trade.

I didn't think of that one.

Glad you solved it.
