I was not able to locate a reference for this topic.
Is there a way to use TradeStation 10 RadarScreen to monitor Option Order Flow aka Unusual Option Activity?
Any insight is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

You need to define "unusual". You have by default PC ratio, OI Ratio, Put Volume, Call Volume, Put Open Int, Call Open Int... I make it work everyday with that

Thank you! I have been kicking those around in RadarScreen and not getting it to work. Patience and persistence :-)

They should already work in RadarScreen, look for indicators called:
Put/Call OI Ratio Avg
Put/Call V Ratio Avg
Volume - All Opts
Volume - Calls
Volume - Puts
Open Int - All Opts
Open Int - Calls
Open Int - Puts

I do see those. I guess my challenge is adding them so they work. I have them in the headers but still blank.
Do you have 'Stock Options' selected in the drop down in the upper right corner?
I'm coming from TOS , so just a little bit of a learning curve.
Looking for a decent video, guide, or screen shot to get it rolling.
Thank you!

No Problem lets try this :
on the top left of your screen click file > new application > radarscreen;
populate it with symbols you like, or simply click Data > Add symbol list > Dow;
select the interval column, then,
on the top left of your radar, go to Timeframe, pick daily. Option data is only on the daily. OPRA does not report intraday.
then on the far right of the column of your radarscreen, click the + sign, find and insert the indicators you want.
if youre not signed up for stock and options data, no matter what you try, you wont have the data.

Awesome! I will give this a go when I get back to the computer!
I know I was off on the interval and will check the data subscription also.
Thank you!

The Daily interval was the culprite. I'm getting data now.
Instead of getting the Stock Symbols, is there a way to get the option strike and option price?
Everything else seems to come through.
I'm trying to get to see all options that meet this criteria:
Option volume (on a strike) > 5000
Open Interest (on a strike) > 100
Option Volume / Open Interest > 3x (custom column for the math)
This will replicate what I have going in TOS now in real time.
Any thoughts?
Thank you!

So Im not sure about strike prices specific stuff but I do know that Volume/OpenInt you can code. The tradestation forum that you can access from the client center is super helpful, you get the guys that built the platform there and they help out with all kinds of requests.
heres an example of what you can code
Variables:
VIRatio(0);
VIRAtio = (PutVolume + CallVolume)/(PutOpenInt + CallOpenInt);
Plot1(VIRatio, "VIRatio", White);
if VIRatio > 3 then
Alert("VIRatio > 3");

Thank you! This is a little different than coding in TOS ...lol
I will check out the Client Center Forum.
I will update if/when I get this worked out.
Thank you for the code sample and continue to do great things!
