Does anyone know if there is a bartimer for NT7 that has an audio alert. Meaning, at the end of a 5 minute bar it will make a sound to alert you that the bar has finished forming? Many thanks!

Below attached bartimer with sound alert.

You need to copy your alert sound file to the directory -> Programs -> NinjaTrader 7 -> sounds.

Then enter the name of your sound file and the alert leadtime via indicator dialogue.

A bar timer should work on not just time based, but also tick and volume based charts. I already have one like that.

I will put it in the Elite downloads section. It combines the code from the bar timer, volume counter, and tick counter. After detecting the type of chart programmatically, it decides whether to count time, ticks, or volume.

Why would anyone want to have ONE indicator that works on any chart when you can have three separate ones to clutter everything up with? DUH....

Another suggestion is to have the indicator actually SAY something instead of making a meaningless sound. Something like "CL 12-10 300 tick chart has just completed a bar". Would anyone be interested in something like that?

don't refrain yourself from coding useful indicators. I only use minute charts, so for my modest needs the above version of the bartimer is good enough.

But if you like, you can improve it, I am the first one to use a better version, if you come up with it.

Is anyone aware of a bar timer (countdown) for volume charts with an audible alert for NT6.5? I am currently using the FancyBarTimer but it doesn't have an audible alert. I have searched here on BM's site and also the Ninja forumns but with no success. Any help would be appreciated.

I wrote a bar timer indicator with text to speech. But you will need to add a reference to microsoft's Interop.SpeechLib.DLL when you compile it.
