i'm using Ninatrader 7 and have some Performance issues. I am looking for a tool to measure the indicator performance to see which of the charts or indicators are using the most power.
Any suggestions?

If you were using NinjaTrader 8, to see performance of individual indicator and other workspace elements you could go to Control Center > New > NinjaScript Output > (Right Click) > NinjaScript Utilization Monitor. Also, there is a script for NinjaTrader 8 that monitors and reports chart lag. I don't know of any equivalent for NinjaTrader 7.
Using task manager you can see under the performance tab cpu and gpu % in use. Gpu will be very little usually. Open the workspace and save and close each window with labels you would understand, then close out nt, with task manager open monitor how much cpu use it takes to open. then open each window and see what happens.... If you want to be anal save and close the workspace with each new chart, until when you reopen with the offending chart you see higher usage.
You're probably using the same computer for everything - trading, email, Google searches. If you're a serious trader or want to be a serious trader, you need to have one computer dedicated to trading only. I realize that it can be expensive to do that, but you'll always have CPU issues as well as other issues if you're using one computer for everything.
I built my trading computer. It's not hard to do and you can save a lot of money. I built the same computer offered by Falcon Trading Computers for $4,000 for $800 from TigerDirect https://www.tigerdirect.com/
Falcon has come down in price now - initially they were asking about $8,000 for a complete setup.
And don't forget high speed internet - use the speed test from your provider to make sure you're getting high speed.
In any case, whatever you do, try to allocate one computer for your trading activity.
