Well, just to be little positive guy here, unlike 2008 this one is "enforced" drop in output due to factories being shut down rather than demand dropping.

So I assume, if everything goes back to normal and people are safe enough to go work things shouldn't be too bad.

This is assuming the virus is dealt with and spread scare is over.

The big challenge with the virus is that you can pass the virus even if you don't have any symptoms. This means that whenever there's a new case, everyone you've been in contact with has to be quarantined for 14 days. 1 case can shutdown an entire factory or hospital. This results in a cascading effect. The solution I see is either we find a vaccine soon, or we just accept that this is another virus like the common cold or flu and just continue living on our lives.
