Greetings,

I'm not sure if anyone is interested.
Here is a website that has a good tutorial about reversing engineering.

Totally appropriate.. I'm adding it to the Useful Links page.

Edit:
Worked great this time... I've added the link to the "Useful Links" post.

Thank you!

Nope I've downloaded the entire tutorial.

It will only allow you to download 20 files in one day. The files can be downloaded by clicking the blue arrows on the right side of each item.

The links on each topic are forum posts.

Let me know if you still have issues. I will try again on a different machine.

I can post the files elsewhere if needed.

yes, lenas tutorials are good intro to basic reversing/ollydbg

another popular site is woodmann rce forum, huge collection of free utilities, etc..
woodmann.com

black storm group has info on CLR/.net reversing, some utilities in download section and good discussion on their forum
..::BlackStorm Reverse Engineering Team::..: News

also recommend Daniel Pistelli's tools, CFFexplorer and Rebel.net as well as his articles on .net internals

IMO if you learn rce, you will be a good trader. Not because you will learn any great secret from reversing commercial trading software or anything like that (all you will learn from doing that is what a sham most commercial programs/indicators are) but because mastering trading and mastering rce both require the same skills: persistence, dedication, ability to think outside the box and to see things from anothers perspective.

What I mean by that last bit is that in order to be a good reverser, you must be able to see the problem from the eyes of the enemy, so to speak. To be a good cracker you must be able to see the problem from the perspective of a protection developer and understand how they think and how they might approach the problem of protection. To be a good security analyst you must understand the perspective of crackers and malware authors, etc. Similarly, to be a good trader you must understand the methods of other market participants (both operators/smart money and retail traders) and just like with reversing the only way you have to understand their methods is via the traces they leave behind..

very interesting perspective selfstrat.. I never would have thought about reverse engineering as a skill-building exercise... thank you for that...
