Hey there,

I'm wondering if there are any traders based in Canada on Interactive Brokers and/or using their data feed.

I'm starting to get into swing trading some canadian stocks and I've read on these forums that some users aren't too crazy about the IB data feed but it seems like there's a consensus that for swing trading it's ok? I maaaaaay dable in some day trading but nothing like futures. At least not yet.

Speaking of futures though, any thoughts on that market on the Montreal Exchange? Should I even consider it (in the future) or just move on the the futures market on the CME?

Thanks in advance.

By the way. This is a hilarious smilie.

I closed my account with IB Canada when I changed from day trading to swing trading.
Great for day trading but way more than I needed to swing trade.

Moved to Questrade.

If all you use are minute charts, then it's good enough for day trading. If you move to tick or volume charts, then it's not good enough because it is aggregated and not true unfiltered data.

No idea about the Montreal Exchange.

Cool. That's good to know. So for now sounds like IB data will work for me.
