I noticed on this message boards that many of have you reflected positively on the Drummond techniques for trading. I see that there is a drummondenergybands.com website that provides software and education but it has not been active since 2018. There is also Drummondgeometry.com which is sponsored by Ted Hearne. I watched his hour long presentation reflecting the basics of Drummond Geometry. What I saw seemed pretty straight forward. He only has software with Multicharts and Tradestation however and I trade with NT8. I wanted to get the opinions of people who have experience with and used Drummond Geometry.


1. Are you profitable with Drummond methods consistently?

2. Do you use additional software? Which charting system?

3. Is there a plan or pathway you would recommend to learn in an efficient and timely way?

4. Have you worked with Mr Hearne...purchased any of his products...mentored with him?

4. Any other input or advice reflecting your experience Drummond would be greatly appreciated.

I have been using Drummond Geometry for nearly 20 years trading futures. A friend of mine was mentored by Ted Hearne and developed his own indicators which I have used in Tradestation since, unfortunately he had passed away a couple years ago. I also use Ninjatrader and wanted to use Drummond Geometry on that platform and found DrummondEnergyBands and purchased that software, unfortunately, JB Wells had also passed away a couple years ago and the web site is no longer supported.
I am frustrated as I had upgraded the Ninjatrader platform and can no longer use the software in it as it needs the Vendor to re activate it again. I now rely on the original Tradestation software that my friend had developed to use this method of analysis.
Drummond Geometry is an excellent technical analysis tool which is predictive in finding future support and resistance levels.

It would be great if there was a user group formed on this site for Drummond users to reflect on their opinions.
