Is there a way to bookmark a thread but always opening the last page and not opening the page where the bookmark was made?

Manually modify the URL to include "-new-post.html" at the end, for example to go to the first unread post of Battle of The Bots, it is:

https://nexusfi.com/elite-automated-ninjatrader-trading/7455-battle-bots-ninjatrader-algorithmic-strategy-development-new-post.html

That URL is the same for everyone, the forum will determine what post you last read, and go to the next one on whatever appropriate page.
