Can I download the historical chart data and do backtesting while offline?

Yes, you can. Here is how to do it:

• Login (sim or live.... I prefer sim whenever practical)
• Open your chart
• Setup your workspace and add your charts and wait for all data to download
• Double-click the 'Sim' or 'Live' .... or .... go to File > Work Offline
• Then you are offline and can backtest

This is what you see in the lower right corner of your status bar:


The red indicates you are offline.

Note: Anytime you change your chart settings, you will need to be online to refresh the data.
