1) to have woken up early and gotten out for a hike before sunrise!
2) to be on vacation in a place of absolutely tremendous beauty - Sedona AZ - and to be here with my family!

Yes, it's a shot of the foothills just south of Long's Peak. Believe it or not this was before all the fires. As John Denver aptly sang "Colorado Rocky Mountain High, I've seen it raining fire from the sky."

I am grateful that my water lilies germinated well.
I am grateful that my guppies are giving birth to lots of fry.
