How come people don't seem to pay them much heed when it comes to trading forex? The CME's COT for currencies is always mentioned by forex traders though for some reason

@johnEdweeno with the exception of DX/Dollar Index futures ICE Futures contracts have very limited liquidity, unlike the CME contracts.
Also ICE data pricing is also very retail unfriendly, with no cheap non-professional options like CME has.
