Recently I recommended that three friends of mine open an account with NinjaTrader since that's what I use and like it.

All three friends of mine are successful in their fields and stated so on their applications. Money really isn't a problem.

Apparently that isn't enough, since all three guys were rejected, and Dorman Trading hasn't given any explanation as to why, and won't return phone calls to field questions.

All three friends have trading experience as well.

Has anyone else had issues attempting to open an account with NinjaTrader? I'm sure Dorman Trading has a ton of say in what happens, but to see solid applicants get rejected like this is disheartening to say the least.

Never heard of something like that, please let us know.

have them tried applying with Philip Capital @ Ninjatrader Brokerage too?

I just opened a Dorman/Ninjatrader account a few months ago. No futures experience. I started with only 2k. Do you know how much they wanted to start with? I talked with a Ninja representative quite a bit about how much to begin with. He said that he wasn't sure what Dorman's evaluation procedure was, but I definitely got the feeling I should start out very low.
