I intend to open an AMP Futures account to practise Depth of Market (DOM) ladder trading on historical or delayed data. Is this supported by AMP's Sierra Chart? Sierra Chart's "Supported Data and Trading Services" documentation webpage says that the standard package (Service Package 3) comes with the "Delayed Exchange Data Feed" which has full market depth. Is this "Delayed Exchange Data Feed" available for me to paper trade when using AMP Futures' Sierra Chart?

Thank you.

I am with AMP and I do use SC Package 3, but I never used delayed data.

I don't see why it wouldn't work, but send a message to AMP support to find out for certain.

This is the best advice -- check directly with the source.

FYI, I used the special delayed feed at one time, and there was a minor charge, something in the 25 dollar/month range (don't quote me exactly), paid to SC. So if it is not in the AMP package, try just checking with Sierra Chart.

Or, you can simply lease a separate copy of Sierra Chart (there's always money involved, so I think the lease is about $26/month). I don't remember now, and I may not be up to date anyway, but you may also have to pay for the delayed feed then, but somehow I don't think so. Check it out with Sierra Chart if you don't get a good answer from AMP.

If you do that, just don't get confused which copy of SC is delayed and which is live.

Bob.
