I’ve made a request on the Tradingview Reddit to expose up/down ticks/volume in pine script for use in studies. Apparently feature requests that get upvotes tend to find there way into the platform so if these sort of studies and indicators interest you an upvote would help. Thanks.

Sounds like a great idea. Could you link us to your poll?

TV doesn't have any plans to introduce tick data in foreseeable future. They might eventually, especially for popular products for some cost but not right now.

Why I bring this up? Because functionality/indicator you are hoping to be available natively wont be possible without tick data.

At least to my knowledge. I'm very active on TV programing chats, so I can say this with certain surety, even if its not an official word.

If you want tick data and those kind of indicators, I would suggest considering SC or Ninja.
