I'm sure this thread is nothing new. However, I think it is easy at times to forget that we all likely have something we can be grateful for, no matter how minor.

I'm sure this won't catch on, but the idea is that maybe occasionally... we take the time to list something we are grateful for. Especially after having a crappy experience with life or the markets.

No need to be detailed if you don't want, you can say what you are grateful for in a word or two.
Obviously, no need to list anything super personal, or anything that would cause others grief... but even if you don't post it here, maybe just recognizing something to yourself may be beneficial?

That is all.

Obviously I'll start...

21 Feb 2020
I remember once, hanging out with my grandmother many years ago, and we were watching tennis. I was lamenting about how I hadn't played since I was about 15 years old, and how I'd like to play.

My grandmother, who at the time had back problems, and general health problems one would have in their old age... said, "Whew... I wished I could play tennis."

She said it in sort of a humorous, yet regretful way. Almost as if she had regret that she maybe didn't use her body as much as she could? But it also had an heir of humor to it. It is possible she didn't mean it in either way I interpreted it... who knows? At least that is how I took it.

I am grateful for my health. I have never had any serious health issues, have always found it rather easy to stay active... and for that I am grateful. There are plenty of others who are not as fortunate as I in that regard, and for that I am grateful.
