I have a significant discrepancy on price, between the price on the chart and the price on chart trader. This happened today during London session and kep going through US open.

In case my workspace was corrupted, I opened a new workspace and placed a new chart (no indicators) 5 min chart/5 day data.

Is it my PC or is it Ninjatrader?
Internet speed 25mbs

Have latest NT8 platform version, latest Windows 10, 32 Ram, SSD 500 gb (40% filled), intel i7-4790k chip (runs at 20-30% capacity with charts up. I run Norton + have checked application permissions.

On NT8: I emptied DB folder, cleard workspaces, rebooted Nt8.....same problem

I believe Ninjatrader displays the Last traded price by default on the chart unless you override it. However even assuming that, the price does seem different compare to the entry form. Are you sure you have live prices on the chart. Try a smaller timeframe. I'd also suggest bringing up the T&S screen and comparing the last print with the price on the chart.

It has settled this morning and prices match. For 6 hrs yesterday the discrepancy made it impossible to put on a position

.I do have live charts (continuum) and tried everything from only loading data 2 days , no indicators at all on a 5 min chart. Maybe I have corrupted workspaces. Maybe I have too many workspaces (which are NOT open, but too many in my workspace list). I may need to do a complete fresh install of NT8. I tried turning off Norton...made no difference.

I am wondering if it is the older i7 chipset ( intel i7-4790k chip), combined with the above musings.
If it is the chip, I made need to invest in a new machine.
