Hi I'm new to NT8 and trying to create my own crossover strategy. To avoid whipsaws, I'm trying to create an offset range between low and High MA. however I'm not how to set this up using the Wizard offset examples. say for ex, if MA 14 falls below, MA 80 and the gap between two has to many this many X ticks. My understand is on Wizard, you use offset from current[0] to previous [1] of the moving average indicators should be separated by offsets, however I set offset type as ticks and assigned value '2' assuming thats 8 ticks away from both MA's and trade should happen. Maybe I'm doing this whole thing wrong.

Can someone help me to understand how to create set gap limits between MAs when crossover happens using offset type?

You could subtract the current lower MA value from the current higher MA value. This will give you the "range."

I don't think you need to use the 'offset' setting for this.
