I will start live algo trading a second ES strategy. I have to trade this on a second chart as the time frame is different to the first ES strategy.
I use Trademanager and it's true/false column so I can monitor if my trades are as they should be at a glance. Now I read somewhere that the Trademanager doesn't function properly if you use multiple charts of the same symbol.
So my question is simply if this is true and if it is so then how could I handle this situation? If it is true then it seems weird to me that TS can't keep track of such a simple thing .
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
It depends. I trade multiple strategies on the same symbol, but this only works fine as long as you only trade in one direction; LONG or SHORT. If you trade both ways, it will mess up your TRUE/FALSE column.
Unfortunately I trade both long and short on all those strategies so I guess if I get a false in a column I guess I manually have to check if everything is correct. That's a shame as it really shouldn't be THAT difficult for TS to keep track of the correct amount of positions. Well well thank you for the reply.
