Morad let me know that Edge Clear met with Eurex upper management end of last year to urge them to launch this type of product, for traders like most of us here on NexusFi, with reasonable fees.

Eurex agreed in the end, and their launch is April 19th. Edge Clear of course will carry the products on launch day.

BTW, Eurex doesn’t distinguish between members and non-members. Pricing is straight forward and doesn’t favor a particular trader level. They have one fee to get real time data for the entire exchange. The Euro STOXX 50 (the full contract designated as FESX) has the equivalent liquidity and daily volume as the ES. The DAX (the full contract designated as FDAX) trades much like the NQ with the same volume and range.

How is it possible to promote and launch these new produts without the partecipation of the market makers and institutionals?

And for what reason we have 3 instruments for the same index?

Referring to the dax, they would had to eliminate the big contract that at the current price has now a value close to 500,000 USD!!

So the MINI DAX like the MINI S&P, but with a tick value of 10 eur instead of 25 eur, then introducing the micro DAX with a tick value of 2 Eur

Almost 2 years of thinking about introducing the Micro products and then an EPIC FAILURE
