the link below has a zip file that is non functional on Trade station...according to their techs...the file needs to be .ELS or
.ELA or .ELD

Thank you for starting this thread.

There is no such thing as a “fractal indicator.” While many platforms provide access to indicators with that name, rest assured not a single one of them is actually looking for a fractal pattern in data.

The word “fractal” has become a bit of a buzzword in recent years but nothing that identifies itself as an indicator or technical trading tool has any relation to fractals. In other words, just because they are called a fractal, does not mean they are actually identifying fractals.

Fractals in data are identified with electromagnetic theory, gauge theory and chaos theory. Fourier transforms are used to identify a pattern followed by wave/group velocity functions to determine the next Time duration of the pattern.

It is simply impossible to observe a bar chart and determine a fractal pattern.

We would be happy to post a few links to blog that discuss these topics, but this is our first post which prevents links from being used.
