When you create a strategy, it creates it's own charts.

Q1 - I'm wondering if attaching a strategy to an existing chart, would somehow make that chart's child objects visible programatically. So if I manually drew a line on a chart and named it "X." Could I then access that line with a tag of "X" from that strategy. Anybody?

Q2 - Does anybody know how to access an ATM's values such as stop amount or target 1 programatically. I thinking that this might be possible through inheritance somehow in the spirit of this post.

Q1 ... I imagine that if you instantiate the line from within the strategy, you could "in theory" manipulate it. Unfortunately, I believe that when the strategy owns or has control of an object, you can't manually access it.

in NT7, a strategy can access any drawobject drawn by itself or by the user (i.e. drawobject manually drawn by the user).

a strategy cannot access any drawobject as drawn by any other strategy.
