Hello all. Merry Christmas!

Outside all these pay-to-trade-in-a-simulator-and-get-$3.5K-to-trade - do there exist legitimate opportunities for traders who would like to receive backing and trade firm capital? Or trade for wealthy individuals?

I'm sure it exists, but possibly it requires connections and is not likely something that's freely offered to the public.

I did talk to someone in Norway who was backing traders, but he required a 20 % deposit as first-loss capital. Something like that could work.

I just figured I'd throw it out there and see if I'll get any responses.

Thanks in advance.

Howard

If you are a good salesman its actually not that hard to get some rich wanna be guy to fund you to some extent, its just that it becomes bit troublesome when you happen to not perform to the expectation. Afterall, ideally both of you should have no complaints about the deal, if even one does it becomes more of a con than a good deal.

Also, if you also happen to be good trader in addition to salesman, its possible to have multiple individuals willing to do the above mentioned funding, its just in that case you will have to have proofs of ability.

Another way is to get a good enough formal education to work for some firm that trades for clients, they will provide funds but your profits will not be yours and you will get more of an incentive or salary structured payouts.

In either case, I would strongly suggest to be aware of the legalities of such an arrangements.

Please note that I'm not promoting coning people just putting out there what some people in my know circle do.
