An indication to a trending / mean reversion / choppy market - more of a filter for a style of trade you would normally take. I know there will be a lot and they're all open to interpretation and so I'd liek to know what other people use as filters to share ideas
I realise this may be a very naive question and also potentially quite broad.
What do you look for to determine the current type of market environment (choppy / trending / mean reversion)?
I guess it could be PA, different indicators and …
The present "ask any question" thread is sort of a staging area to collect user questions and point them to other threads or to create dedicated new threads, not to be where things get hashed out.
Please switch the conversation over there, and perhaps more members will see it and take part.

I was not even aware that you could turn off the top stats until I read your post.
I have referred the question to @Big Mike, and I'm sure we will get them restored. He is just now returning to active status after an long absence due to illness, as you probably know, so it may be a while before this can be fixed, since there are many things that need attention.
But we will get it restored for you. If you can be patient a little longer as things get sorted out, I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

hi. is there anyone who can help convert an indicator from NJ7 to 8? eventually at first by taking a look and asses how much work it could require. thanks all. just joined here
Hi @rscr, I was going to open up a new thread for your question, but first I checked if futures.io has a review thread for them already (it doesn't), and then did a Google search for the company.
All I found under "optima ninja" was a website design company in Texas, which is obviously not the right one.
Can you check the name of the company and provide a web address for them? Then we can get things going to have a review thread for them and get your question answered.
Thanks.
Bob.
