I am in need for a Intra-day data provider, it doesn't have to be as live as possible as I only need to make requests every hour, or 4 hours, as my strategy works on the 1H and 4H timeframe.

I use EOD-data which can provide Intraday data, but it only gets made available for download at the end of the session, sometimes the next day it's a $30 or $40p/m plan I believe.

I need something that is more live, however it seems the providers get extremely expensive.

As an example I'll need to download OHLC data for each 1H candle for all US and Australian stocks prefer after each hour, or if not possible every 4 hours. I've looked through IKBR data feed pricing structure but I'm unsure how it will work out.

If anyone knows any reasonably priced providers that can provide both US and Australian stock price intraday data please do share.

I assume you're referring to eoddata.com. If so, have a look at eodhistoricaldata.com instead

Their data is intraday and updated continuously, but with 15-min delay, and they cover a lot of global exchanges. I hope this helps.

For the call frequencies you mention, you can probably manage with a free subscription with Polygon.io or Tradier.com, but unfortunately they only do US stocks afaik.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately we looked into it and the data from EOD-Historical-data can't actually be requested live , my developer tried depsite what they word on their website. Only can get it end of day.

This is from their website, using the demo API token. I tried pasting it in my browser every now and then and seems to be updating fine.

You can check out alphavantage.com, they have intra-day data for many exchanges. eodhistoricaldata's website looks a little too sketchy for me to trust their data. I am not affiliated with alphavantage, just my opinion.

E Signal and DTN are the best .. i have never used cheep data .
