I get it. This seems like it is a random question. Mainly because the context is what makes the book or idea a great one and it all clicked for you.

But here is what I am trying to get at.

I am sure that are many people like me who have read a ton of books on futures trading and trading in general and can spout multiple trading methods both strategically and tactically. However, we still aren't profitable. In my case I feel there is just one more light bulb that needs to go on and I will get it. I feel like I am so close.

Yesterday I watched a video on YT of someone who said that once he got Volume profile and order flow, it all clicked for him and that we each had to find the method that clicks for us. Someone or something will happen and it will all click into place. Then you can start the journey to becoming a consistently profitable trader.

What was that point for you and why was it that moment? I am hoping you guys will share something that will trigger something in others that will make it click.

Thanks!

Another good ML+Trading talk on YT is Machine Learning in Trading. Again, mostly foundational but a lot of experience that one really needs to take into consideration and understand that it's more like a marathon vs. sprint .

The other YT video I mentioned in my prior post demonstrates a lot of the "how" (by example) in addition to some of the pitfalls (namely forward-looking bias) which he unfortunately didn't tweak/update (yet?).

Trade smaller so I can take heat. If you're gonna be dumb you better be tough.

Best book is your own trading journal. Keep it simple to get a chance to read it and think what you have done good/bad.
