This is a glitch with TradeStation (among many others- like gaps not being executed, don't get me started...)- according to them- if the stop is outside the exchanges limit level- you can't place the stop. The way I've worked around it- and it seems to work- but don't trust me ..... keep an eye on it yourself- is to place a market order with activation- the level of activation is your stop loss level- this might create a little more slippage then the spread.............. but at least it should trigger .......... Good luck
(as a side note there are little up and down arrows on the activation price (value)- monotonous as hell, click on the price and enter the price from your key pad- I found this out the hard way ..........)
