Is anyone willing to take on the coding for Inventory Retracement Bars for Ninja 8?

Thank you,

Jeff

Jeff,
Can I suggest you provide more details, give some examples and a couple of screen shots? It will most likely increase the odds of someone getting on board with your project.
Just an idea and good luck, JM.

Indeed, providing the specs for the bars, in addition, will be much appreciated. I am not sure everyone knows what an Inventory Retracement bar is.

Lol, I thought it was me. I can't picture anybody being willing to go research the request, then write the code gratis.
I wish him the best but it's a long shot. Who knows.... maybe Santa Claus is a member here too.

Alright. I read the PDF twice and couldn't find any explanation for why a candle with the open and close being 45% off the high is a sign of institutional trading. Can anyone clear this up for me?

Why does that criteria indicate that most likely, large institutions are active? On the surface, it seems fairly random. What am I missing here?

I haven't looked but it should be very easy to see on a chart. Wouldn't these IRB bars have above average volume? Maybe I'll take a look...

Also. I can't help but to wonder why (since it's apparently quite profitable) don't you use it on the platform where it already exists to make enough to pay for coding in NT8? In my experience rates are very reasonable and it won't take long to make what I'm certain will cost less than a few hundred.

Instead of coming out of your pocket to pay for it, make $$ using it and use those profits to buy NT8 code.

Thanks, JM

@johnnymustard I will post later an indicator that is very similar (almost identical) to the requested one.

Please use it and report to us how useful it was for making money.

Thanks,

JT

JT,
I'm happy to take a look but I'm not the one
claiming it's profitable at all. The OP seems to
believe in it. Certainly enough to post.

According to the PDF, it's the best thing since
sliced bread. Multiple awards and trading contest
wins or similar claims.

I'm not making any claims about it's usefulness
as I've never heard of it before this thread.

When I report back that I didn't find it to be
particularly profitable, i don't know what will
have been gained. I dont expect it to work
great but maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.
Thanks, JM

Thank you for your wiliness.
I have very little time to spend, unfortunately.

Please let me know any success or failure of this script.
