Hey guys. quick question on how to read volume on MES. I saw extremely low volume on MES on Friday vs avg, but a slightly above avg volume on SP500 index. how would your read this?

we are in the middle of the roll-over so there is a volume split

thanks tr8er! It makes sense indeed. I was anyways looking at the volume in the next contract and on Friday it was pretty low. so if I add the 2 volumes we don't come to the volume of the sp on Friday. is there anything else I am missing? thanks for your help

Actually Volume on the MES 12-22 is 38600 and on ES at this time 12:40 AM EST.... 55000.....so not too shabby....MNQ and NQ is 41000 and 18000 respectively....

thanks @loanintelligence. if you see volume is well below avg but as tr8er says we are getting close to contract expiration so that might be one reason. for me its also a warning anyways that market is weak and that it might turn very soon
