I was about 90% long only today but managed to get a winning day out of it. Mkt is changing direction quickly and retracing 90 to 100% at times but there is ample opportunity. Not an easy mkt to trade from either side

I would chime in.

That's very good trading if you made 200% return.

The real challenge will be to keep this or at least 100% return every week.

Accept or Reject?

1. You used the word if. It's actual fact. I made 200% on 1600. Not a huge feat
2. There is no way anyone can maintain a 100% return mathematically the mkt is not big enough.
3. Maintaining this account and perhaps making 300 to 1500 per day
On average I think is doable.

I would reject your idea only because its impossible. 52 doubles

Think of how easy it is to double a dollar. Bigger you are the more difficult it is

Anyways, since the title of the thread also includes the word challenge, I tried to give you a challenge since you are good enough to take one and beat it.

Today I took it on the nose and got knocked out! I got up but I will tell you a force liquidation of 50% is all that saved this account.

I started doing more mini instead of micro and 4 minis long as the mkt drops hard is not a winning combination. I was scalping and turned it into a position with way way way too much leverage. Gotta understand that never go from 1 n 2 lot micros to minis.. jump to 5 lot micros then 8 etc.

The minis just get too big for a small acct even sub 10k

I ended up scalping back 1500 of my losses
