Very few threads on the internet, if not any, pertains to "bracketing the news trade" technique. I wonder why?

I know you know why. haha....

I did it for about 3 months. Down 300.00 with a demo'd system that was very profitable for about 3 months.

NG/CL never got filled.

6E was OK. 6J was not enough volume and would always knock me out at a loss in live, unlike demo.

ES was worthless.

TF was dangerous.

CL always seemed the best, but it would never fill me and go right by or give me a small loss or small win even though it went 80 ticks!

I wasn't using this system as i Haven't read it, but I followed another groups system that they do so well on "SIM!"

It does look like Bill is bracketing the news trade. Not sure I completely understand why
you guys are saying that it is not talked about on the web or doesn't work? Maybe you can give more details??

The tradethespike.com system is $1,997.00....out of my range. I watched Bill do a "spike" live in
a webinar on Jan 7th. He did call his entries and it was a profitable trade and it was
a very quick trade.

Marker...I have also been watching your video's and reading your blog from start to finish. Good stuff.
I am thinking about joining your room....but don't want to get off topic.

bluemele...can you give more detail on how you were entering your trades? I don't understand how you
didn't get filled if you have your order in front of the market? Does it just go that fast and skip your trade??
