Right way to learn it.
However, I would recommend you do take a closer look at market replay software - this can helps you to train your eyes for specific market situation. Hence you can learn to find a specific kind of trade.
Moreover, it will safe you a bunch of time because you can fast forward / skip situations where the market trades in an area where you are not interested anyway.
