Hi All,
I had to upgrade to Bloodhound V2 in order to go Live with the latest version of . It hasn't been easy. Having initially developed with ver. 1 I had legacy objects in the Strategy as you couldn't copy objects across to a safe store for future use in ver. 1; this resulted in a large Strategy file that when loaded into Ver 2 caused problems with amongst other features Pan. The strategy is now considerably smaller however currently the Live system still often freezes and I also sometimes get a cascading list of Alert boxes.
Noticed too that that if I start Ninja with a BH strategy saved in the workspace that it doesn't start properly and the only solution is to force a shutdown of Ninja, uninstall BH and start again.
It also appears to heavily burden the system - even with a cutdown version of the strategy it runs painfully slow
Currently I use Raven however it doesn't permit the addition to current trade positions. Seems like this requires Blackbird. I did have a look at the later and in my honest opinion Blackbird seems to simply emulate what Ninja does in its own Strategy and if Raven allowed additions to the trades I wouldn't really need it.
I think BH is good to refine Strategies however thus far trying to go live with it just isn't working
I'm seriously now considering decommissioning it from my Live system
I started on ver1 in 2019 and ver 2 about 3 weeks ago
Any views?
