Greetings,

When I try to search the forum for files that were mentioned in a thread, it usually returns no results.

For example in the "How to use volume in your trading" thread.
If I search for BetterVolumeNT in the advanced search function.
I get "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."

I have the advanced search to "search entire posts"

If I go to the thread and do a similar search I get the same results.

This item is on Post # 16 of this thread but does not show in search.

What am I doing wrong?

I've found this same type of thing with several search terms. I wonder if their is another way to search. I've also tried searching using google advanced search on the site and it does the same.

The latest thing is the tab at the top of the main page has changed. There used to be an item for NEW POSTS. I use that to bring up on one page all the posts that I've missed since the last visit.

That seems to be missing lately. I wonder if it will come back?

The new posts link has simply been moved higher, to under "Welcome, <username>".

and the answer for tthe question to the searchfunction is :

everything is working as expected as far as I know. search results aren't going to search in attachment names.
