Can someone refer me a tool for Ninjatrader 8 that will show the average swing length in ticks over a specified period of time? One that also shows average swing up/down would be even better.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
So I built the basic output tool for myself, maybe someone else will have a similar need. Only useful if you are interested in exporting swing stats for analyzing elsewhere.

Thanks! I've looked at that before. However, I'm not looking for something that will provide just swing length on each swing but rather statistical info like average swing length over a specified period of time or range. I don't believe the indicator you posted provide such data.
Thanks! I tried it with the PriceActionSwing indicator but it doesn't actually give me the swing data I need as seen on the chart by the PriceActionSwing indicator.
Take a look at the anaIntradayRangesV12 which is an NT7 indicator.... don't know if there is an NT8 version. This will show the average range for individual bars based on the range of that bar over x weeks back. So, it will show the average range for the hour before the Open and the Hour ( or whichever bar length you choose ) after the Open based on the historical ranges of that specific bar/time period. I find this more useful than an average range based on x consecutive bars.
