True we can give a line a name but it won't appear on the chart. What would be needed is a check box in the line property dialog window we could check : show name (True/False) with these options: Left/Right
You need a custom plot to do that, and possibly would want to set a right margin for your chart. There are lots of indicators doing this, for example the standard pivots indicator of NinjaTrader.
You can have a look at the pivot indicator. Set the right margin of your chart to something like 50, need a little bit space there. Settings are under chart properties.
Still looking for indicator that would attach a label to a horizontal line.
I am really surprised that this is not part of the base platform.
