I am looking for a way to have an input where one can type in a whole number and it will show you when that many upticks or downticks have occurred in a row.

So if 9 was the input then it would let me know when 9 upticks occurred without a downtick and mirror that for downticks

For which platform? You didn't post it in a specific area, nor did you indicate in your post.
