can anyone recommend an app that links with NT8 to journal trades automatically if there is such a thing out there thanks.

I also searched for such trading journals but unfortunately, I don't think there is any out there that syncs automatically, you need to manually upload the CVS.
I use Tradezella, it usually takes about 1 minute for me, so pretty easy. I also used Tradeviz and I don't recommend it, lots of bugs/errors.
