If you use Ninjatrader, you might want to look at Bloodhound from sharkindicators. They offer a logic board that you can use to create trading ideas without coding, and it comes with a basic backtester. They also offer a more comprehensive backtesting/trade management program called Blackbird if you think you need it, but Bloodhound is usually enough to get the gist of an idea.
You used to get a discount for being a elite member, and that might still be available - worth asking.

I have watched a Webinar from Shark Indicators regarding Backtesting. My brief look at their website was too brief.
Irt NT - I tried to open a free account with them yesterday but was rejected as I am in Canada and NT brokerage is not allowed here. I will try again without the NT brokerage as an option.
I am with Interactive Brokers and could connect NT to IB.
Has anyboy linked NT with IB?
I get the impression that most on Futures.io do not deal with IB
Funny you ask - I just set up an account with IB in the last week. I got it to connect to NT, but the data has been patchy at best, although that might be from the NT side and not IB. I'm looking at a couple of things and will drop an update on how things work out.
Haven't actually placed a trade with them yet, but the application and funding was dead easy.
