How many ticks total per day?

drmartell Portland, OR Elite Member Experience: Intermediate Platform: NinjaTrader mostly Broker: I've tried 'em all Trading: ZN, ES, 6E, TF, CL Posts: 94 since Mar 2010 Thanks Given: 176 Thanks Received: 79	How can I determine how many ticks occur for a given instrument in a specified period (e.g. a day) in NinjaTrader? I am accustomed to TradeStation where one can simply switch volume from number of 'Trades' to number of 'Ticks' for any timeframe.

Can you help answer these questions

When you create a chart and choose 'ticks' instead of volume. can you show a picture from TradeStation as I have used it for 1.5 years?
