You have duplicated the code of the original indicator within the strategy which is not ideal. It is much better to define some public variables within the orginal indicator which are exposed to the external world so they can be used by whatever indicator or strategy.
Yes I agree its far from ideal. I have tried that before. I could not find the necessary variables that needed to be made public. The indicator is fairly complicated. Another issue if I recall correctly was the massive amount of method parameters needed to call the indicator. I chose the option that I could get to work at the time.
Can you please post the indicator (SupDemZones) without the strategy? I've combed through this forum, but I can't find a working version of the indicator. My NT8 version 8.0.28.
