Well, one more reason to think more about your advice- My NT platform kept freezing up so today, I added RAM. I dont know whether to laugh or cry. My machine ID changed AGAIN after adding memory. Now I have to contact every Vendor and hope they dont charge their fee. At least I dont have to worry about contacting Valtos since I had never heard back from him from the last machine id change..

Regarding changing machine ID, have you considered a VPS? I know it has it's own pros and cons, but for some use cases it's very good. It's the only way I've found to keep a static machine ID because on my personal computer it would always change, sometimes even when plugging in a usb stick.

Back in 2020 my machine ID kept changing and also had to keep emailing vendors that weren't responsive. I finally switched to Ninja Mobile Trader VPS, and the machine ID hasn't changed since starting 3 years ago. They even added more RAM to my setup so now I've got 32gb RAM for running quick strategy optimizations, and still same machine ID.

@planetkill-That was a great response. I had never heard of this. I will look for more information. As someone suggested earlier, just replace the platform. I am about ready to do this if the id changes again. It would be like a triple Oy Vey! I like indicators, but as mentioned, I have never had this problem with any other platform. Do you have a link to more info?

There's many VPS providers out there, personally I'm with https://www.ninjamobiletrader.com/ because they include help with NinjaTrader, I can't tell you how many times they've helped me with NinjaTrader errors, where no one else was responsive or helpful, they've been the best.

I would like to hear if anyone else has had bad experiences with Michael Valtos Orderflow software not working and being unable to contact him at all.

This guy is a crook. I spent $500 on an indicator and when I got a new PC, he never responded to any of my 9 emails to update my license. He posts you tube videos twice a week, but does not permit comments because everyone would destroy him. Go to Trust Pilot and read the reviews! He never responds to emails about support! One guy sent him 100 emails and no response. Do not waste your money. AVOID! He should not be able to sell anything on YouTube or anywhere else. If you just bought something reverse the charge on your credit card!

Appreciate that. The more I buy indicators the more I find more shady Vendors. NinjaTrader said there is nothing they can do since he is a 3rd party. What irks me is on the one hand they hold webinars to promote the Vendors, but when there is a problem they apply the three monkey approach. They dont hear anything, see anything or say anything.

Just this week I had a problem with another indicator. Now I am in the middle. The Vendor says they can do nothing more to help, and NinjaTrader saying it is the responsibility of the Vendor to fix the problem with the compiling. I removed the indicator yet the platform still has issues. I am about to walk away from this platform.

Just uninstall NinjaTrader and delete the NinjaTrader 8 folder in My Documents. Then reinstall NinjaTrader and you won't have any problems.

Well I may be too late. When support remoted in, they didnt even try to clear up the compiling errors. They removed every single paid indicator off of the platform and told me i would have to contact every Vendor again if i didnt have the download available. I'm dealing with health issues right now so I didnt really understand what they did, but it really made everything worse. At least I had my paid indicators working.

Check your trash bin, they are in there if they deleted the files because I doubt they also deleted your trash. Or more likely they just renamed the either the NinjaTrader or bin folder, and you can get it all back.
