You do not really believe in this, do you? This is just the next step in his scam.
First it was faked "live" videos.
After that it was "streamed" videos but with delay of like 15 minutes. For which his explanation was, that it would not be legal to do a live stream of your trading, which is not true. People saw through this so he had do change his method again.
Then he did not publish his settings that he is using in the videos for his software, which should have given people the same results. Or in reality, it would have shown to everyone that his software does not do what he promises.
And now we are at the next step, the "implementation" of AI. It's the buzzword of this generation which automatically makes people throw money in his direction, but the good part for him with that is, that his "customers" are not dependent on his settings anymore. Now he can fake his videos all day long, and if you do not achieve the same results it could be one of thousand things that the "AI" does differently and *that* is why it does not work for you. While with the manual settings, it would easily provable if the software does what he says it does. But now he can hide behind the "AI'.
I feel bad for anyone that signs up with Futures Analytica, can't believe people are still being duped but then again people are still signing up with Vinny too so these scammers will always manage to find new blood
I have had FuturesAnalytica for almost a year now and went through the beta testing. They finally got the release version. Does it work? Is it a scam? This is my observation and since I am patient and willing to work further on it I'll be confirming or revising this review. I still don't have an answer despite many attempts. One this is apparent though: he is not willing to be remotely clear on working settings. He provides support email and I received some answers.
Let's delve into it:
-A scam? : clearly he did the overlay, I think now he does not. The proof he gives now is partial, Would I be him I would clearly show there are no overlay on the account and he could also go in the account tab.
I can say that in his live sessions the chart appear to match my live chart. I still think this is not a scam but I will insist in doing a thorough study of this system and update you.
- Does it work?
So far I've never been to get anything useful out of it.
-Sharing his settings:
His statement that he does not share his exact settings because it would impact the market is in my opinion correct. He is looking for few ticks and fast execution. Even a tick difference could impact performance.
Let's be frank, do you know of a system sold out there that really works as promised? Yes there are but they maybe represent probably 1% of it's present out there. Most sllers are in my experience either lying or delusional.
The main problem for me is: does he really care about his customer or not? I may say yes if ultimately his system works and I will updated you because I am up to large effort in this direction.
He had all of us sweating for a year testing his beta version of it and giving no support with the excuse it was beta. He did not even provide decent installation instruction. This was very problematic because the system is very complex for good reasons. Information were contradictory and not matching the behavior of some check boxes as they were in development. Then we were told those things now work... Every test could take hours and working in the dark it is not easy. ( I prefer to waste my time under the sun).
Finally one of the customer few months ago decide to create a 30minutes video explaining how to install the system and Connor shared it with everyone expressing embarrassment for not having done it himself sooner.
The template doesn't need to be shared fully. Some check box could have been shown not to have us spinning around. Now the documentation has improved and some things are shown but just a video of 30minutes could give clear direction of where to go as starting point.
The full release documentation still talks of beta and the release installation still rely on PolarityMLPRERELEASE files. Models are promised but not given since now two months from the release and the template appear not filled up correctly. The system gets installed through a backup-restore clumsy procedure that can be quite disrupting to the Ninjatrader installation and makes you lose a sense of control of your own platform. I am guessing this could be due to a NinjaTrader limitation importing models from vendors but it could be simply do to poor work on their side. I don't know.
I think that since he has been working so hard to perfect the system, if he would care he would spend half a day to make a video that gives a sense of direction, explain the logic and interaction among check boxes and he could do it prior pursuing new projects as he's saying he has been up to.
FYI I am expert programmer and trader. I don't get lost easily. I dedicated probably a total of two weeks on this in the course of a year. Frustrating time counts double...LoL It feels a month full time. Some people clearly appears to be better tuned than me for this type of system. I see good reviews on Peter support, good for Peter, he may save Connor in the corner.
After a year of patience and observing analyzing the full release package I finally wrote Connor the following letter privately:
"Dear Mr Connor, When you said that having a customer preparing an installation video for you was embarrassing I think it was not the right statement. After an year an half spent with this machine with trials and errors, getting crazy figuring things out, finding unexplained missing parts and now with the released version manual that refers to beta, model missing Pati application that crashes, restoring from backup as a way to install your strategy and models that completely messed up my platform and I now need tech support to fix it, still a completely missing basic setup tutorial for dummies like me with templates that do not contradict your videos.... Well it was not really embarrassing, it was an insult to the good faith and patience of your customers who try for month to get something useful out of your system. But when I got your system somehow working I never could match remotely anything you do because we are still left in the complete dark. Thank you for wasting days of hard work to so many customers who believe in you and do not want to create you problems."
I didn't receive any answer but I've been blocked out from asking questions in his live youtube sessions as result.
Who Connor is, is really defined to my eyes but i still don't think he is a dishonest.
We'll see if supports helps. I am willing to complete my hard work and due diligence and I'll update you, but this is what I've been up to.
I really could not understand what your conclusion would be here. But these, in my eyes, are the important parts of your post and describe exactly what is going on. I think it's very easy to see through this.
