Yes that is me and Mrs. wldman and displayed for just those authenticity reasons.
I recognize a theme from these three responses...I should have picked up the clue phone. I do not "know the broad audience".
In the coming days I will try to be more intentional and more inviting with how I post. I do not know if I jump this new (and I believe broadly beneficial) idea that Mike is rolling out. I do NOT want to be a "trade room" guy for revenue's sake. I would be a creator here on this new offering if I could get the balance right between time in general but especially relative to "production" time.
Maybe Mike will see it here, maybe I will direct in the other thread...but I wonder if a member could sign up based on what they thought they could divide from their finances in exchange for what I was delivering for them personally? This would do a few things...most importantly, it would allow folks to return value where value is received. If a sub could choose between, "free" and then a two tier cost structure...I'd have incentive to work harder for folks that were paying more, while still providing content for people that are not in a place to divide money for it. If it is worth it for a sub, they decide the value. If dividing the time is worth it for me, I continue.
I do not want to "compete" with other members and I certainly do not want disagreements where opinion or application are different.
BY ALL MEANS guys...if I post something and do not scoop up your experience level with the post, PLEASE ask in the thread or DM me and I'll clarify. If I know, I will say. If I "think", meaning have an opinion, I'll say. If I have no idea...I'll say that too.
Three reasons why Mikes idea are interesting.
1) We are all on an island...essentially alone with our thoughts and actions. It is effing hard enough when you are not isolated.
2) I had many mentor types that helped me or shared a kind word...often when I had nothing to offer in return.
3) Participation in something like what is being suggested does act to keep us all thoughtful and accountable. Iron sharpens Iron.
