Been on vacation away from markets but definitely have came to some realizations about the type of trader I want to be and how I want to approach risk moving forward.
I currently have have 6 funded accounts 4 Apex and 2 Topstep
I will be focusing solely on Nasdaq Futures Moving forward, that market presents a unique challenge for me as a trader and one that I have been trying to avoid over the years.
Spreading my risk out over the 6 accounts gives me roughly 9K in trading leverage.
This will make my maximum risk 300$ which is 15 Points, plenty of availible risk for my 1 minute chart scalping style. I will trade each account individually and limit myself to 1 trade per account per day.
I will be live journaling again here starting tomorrow and truly am excited to be going on this nasdaq journey one that I have been avoiding for the better part of last decade.
Took the weekend to really evaluate myself and my trading objectives and how to simplify my trading decisions.
1. Focus on 1 Time Frame : Mine is 1 Minute Chart
2. 1 Indicator allowed I chose 20/50 EMA Chanel
3. Keep Risk Less than 1% on any individual Trade
With a total margin of 8,410$ In my funded accounts that means no loss greater than $84.10 So that will be my 1 trading rule. Never lose More Than 1%
My Market Is the Nasdaq 100 Futures Starting with the Micro MNQ
Here is what my chart will look like will live journal all trades as it holds me accountable better than end of day recap.
Nasdaq Chart Moving Forward
Hope everyone had a great weekend and is ready to attack the second half of the year.
