The customer (Jim) sends videos to Randy of his live trades. Randy posts them under his YT channel. If you go back for about the last 2-3 weeks, you’ll see videos almost daily done by Jim.

Ok thank-you. I thought perhaps the person also had their own channel.

I have been a long-time customer since 2006. I have no association with Randy the owner of Blue Wave Trading. This review is purely based on my experience with Blue Wave Trading.

The Past...
Over the past 18 years I have used the Autotrader on and off with varying results. But nothing consistent enough to be used over time. In the beginning Blue Wave promoted the Autotrader as a set-it and forget it system. As a newbie I was intrigued and purchased the software. As anyone who has been involved in this trading endeavor for any number of years knows, an ATM machine does not exist. For many years I believe this was how the product was promoted, and for me that was frustrating. That philosophy has now changed for the better.

The Present...
Currently Blue Wave has made many positive changes in the NT8 software’s functionality, and also in the direction of the company. BWT’s programmer Bob is a partner in the company so the software continues to evolve and any issues are addressed immediately. In my opinion, as a long-time user, these changes have transformed Blue Wave Trading and the Autotrader into one of the best offerings on the market today.

Why do I say this?
As part of its evolution Blue Wave now promotes the Autotrader as a Hybrid trading tool to be used in conjunction with other market methods they offer. Kudos to BWT for their honesty to recognize that 100% automation 100% of the time is not feasible. In addition to many improvements to the software functionality, in my opinion, the best new additions are what Blue Wave calls the Core Levels and the creation of a         channel. I believe these new additions are game changing.

The Core Levels provide outstanding accuracy and clarity that I have not seen anywhere else. At first, I thought these levels would be based on the same crap everyone uses calculated on fibs, pivots or high and low deviations. But I do not believe so. I do know they are highly accurate and I use them daily for entries and targets with great success. The Hybrid approach is to turn on the Autotrader only at these given target levels. You set the conditions for entry and exits and profit goals as a template. Now let the software do the heavy lifting once you decide on the entry by only enabling the strategy at that time. It is not an ATM but definitely puts the odds for success in your favor.

The         channel is new and BWT has a solid community with a great group of traders. They also have a trade room. It is moderated daily from 9:15 to 11:30 by 3 pro traders who you can tell have been around the block. They show their chart with the Core levels and, in advance of the market open, place entry and exit targets along with trading education and advice. On a weekly basis they conduct after hours breakout sessions that address any questions you may have regarding the software and more importantly trading education. They are much more patient than I could ever be. So far it is really the best room I have participated in over the years.

Presently I trade every day using their software. You can see many of my charts posted daily in their         channel. I have been a customer of Blue Wave Trading with mixed results for many years. The current changes in software, support, education and overall product philosophy have made a significant difference in my trading. It has helped me in being consistently profitable on a daily and weekly basis.

I am writing this review because I find it rare that one of the oldest companies in this industry was willing and able to change direction and evolve into one of the good guys. As said above I have no association with Blue Wave Trading beyond being a current customer. I have never posted a review before, and I have nothing to gain by writing this review. Take a look and decide for yourself.

As we all know trading is not easy and I wish you all good luck and profits in your trading journey!

Hi TimeTrader,

Thank you for your review of Blue Wave Trading. I checked BWT website and did not find any strategy performance figures / metrics. Are you able to share your performance statistics of the automated system they are selling? Obviously, this would help would-be BWT traders in making a decision. Thank you.

Regards,
Ricardo

I have attached my posted chart from yesterday. I was only able to trade the early session. I went long based on a break of the Hi Mid1 core level targeting the Expected High level above. I take trades like this pretty much on a daily basis. I have found the Core Levels to be accurate and very consistent. As I am sure you are aware nothing is 100% all the time. My suggestion would be to got to the BWT website where you can find Randy's email to obtain an invite to join the         channel. It is free. There you can see many of my charts that I have posted pretty much on a daily basis for the past 6 months. You will also see other traders using successful methods different than mine and have your questions answered. This way you can make a determination for yourself if this is something that adds value to your approach to trading. All I am saying is that it has for me. Good luck in your trading journey....

Thanks for sharing, much appreciated.

I did reach out to Randy from BWT and he was quick to respond with more information. He created a short YT video showing various BWT charts and the BWT automated system. In the video, he shared a 30-day strategy performance report. Here's a link to the video for those interested in watching it:

In any case, I will sign up for the 3-day free trail BWT Trade Core room for next week. Hope to 'see' you there.

Regards,
Ricardo

UPDATE: I joined the Blue Wave Trading (BWT) trading room last week and was impressed by the trade room moderators. I also communicated with the owner/founder of BTW, Randy, back and forth, asking a multitude of questions about their auto trader software. In any case, I bit the bullet and purchased the BWT Precision Autotrader's annual subscription a few days ago. After getting familiar with the software and receiving a demo from Randy, I got my feet wet and traded the NQ in today's session on an APEX Eval account. I actually came close to getting funded on day one (see chart below).

The software includes what BWT calls 'Core Levels' and with my limited exposure so far in the trade room and looking at backtest charts (NQ & ES), these levels are quite impressive. There are a few other levels that serves as potential targets that are currently only available in the trade room. However, Randy says these levels will be made available to automatically plot on the charts with the software very soon.
